So we are eating dinner tonight discussing our upcoming vacation to San Antonio and Six Flags. Bill is asking Brody what rides he wants to ride and so on. Brody has this to say?
Well, you know mom and dad that back in the 80's they had a vacuum cleaner ride that would suck your hair off.
Where in the world does he come up with this stuff - back in the 80's???????
I am also trying to teach him the value of a dollar, ok, maybe a 4 year old doesn't understand the total concept but I am trying. I usually stop and get him a treat after school but this week I told him mommy didn't have any money because we were saving for vacation. I told him the money that we would normally spend we will put in an envelope and he can use that on vacation for whatever he wants. He thought that was an OK idea but he really wants his ICEE. So, this is what he came up with:
OK mom, if you don't have the money I bet Nana and Papaw will. They always have money. Problem solved, now can I have my ICEE????
I have not given in this week and the change is going in an envelope for vacation.

I guess so, it was back in the 80's when it started getting thinner and thinner and we did ride lots of roller coasters.
He is such a smart kid!!!!
I bet Grandma Linda and Joe will come thru for him on the ICEE?
I am sure you will. I gave him 10 $1 bills yesterday for his envelope. He was so excited. He said, mommma is that all for me. I told him on Friday if we don't stop he will get 10 more. He was just smiling!!!

Ok you guys, we can afford an ICEE but I am trying to make a point....
Just go to Target...you can get popcorn and a coke for .99! Well, they may have increased it .10 since I left, but you can't beat it!
